Giancarlo Roma

Giancarlo T. Roma is a writer and the co-author of two books, most recently "The Waters of Our Time" (powerHouse Books, 2014), as well as articles published in Vice, The New York Times, and elsewhere. A graduate of Columbia University with a degree in English and African American Studies, he is an avid chess and guitar player. Partnering with his grandfather, Lee Friedlander, Roma runs Haywire Press, which sells Friedlander books, special editions, and portfolios from his personal stock. Roma lives in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
