Momus is funded through a combination of foundation and partnership support, advertising, project grants, and individual donations. As a small, independent platform, we rely on our community of supporters to grow sustainably.
Momus keeps a low overhead in order to privilege paying its editors and writers above-industry-average rates. 90% of Momus’s budget goes directly to its network of writers and editors.
