Emily Vey Duke

Emily Vey Duke is an artist and an art writer. She has been published in C Magazine, Mix Magazine, Canadian Art, Border Crossings, and Fuse Magazine. Her work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art (Philadelphia), the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the International Film Festival of Rotterdam. In 2011, she was shortlisted for the Sobey Art Award. A book about her work titled "The Beauty is Relentless" was published in 2012. In 2016, "The Illuminations Project," Duke’s ten-year collaboration with Shary Boyle, was made into a book by the same name. Duke teaches at Syracuse University.
