Camille Bacon

Camille Bacon is a Chicago-based writer who is cultivating a "sweet Black writing life" as informed by the words of poet Nikky Finney and the infinite wisdom of the Black feminist tradition more broadly. Her curiosities orbit around the aesthetic legacy of Black abstraction and the cultural production of her two homes: the United States and Martinique. She is a graduate of Smith College, has interned at The Studio Museum in Harlem, and has participated in writing programs such as The Black Embodiments Studio.
