Through drawing and sculpture Zachari Logan explores the intersections between masculinity, identity, memory and place. After receiving his BFA in 2004 and MFA in 2008 from the University of Saskatchewan, he began showing his drawings and installations in Berlin, Miami and Paris in both solo and group exhibitions. Over the past six years, Logan has won numerous awards and residencies, exhibiting his work in Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Brussels, Calgary, Cincinnati, Grenoble, London, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York, Regina, Seattle, Toronto, Verona and Vienna. His work can also be found in numerous public and private collections. Logan is long-listed for this year’s Sobey Art Award.
