Featuring new works from François Lacasse and Nicolas Lachance, this exhibition centers around the artists’ explorations of the plastic qualities of matter. In the first two rooms of the gallery, Lacasse continues his study of paint in its pouring and flowing onto the canvas. In the third room, Lachance pursues his work on the themes of transfer and passage through the medium of carbon paper ink. His new pieces involve a double transfer: from photography to carbon paper, and from carbon paper onto the canvas.
