Max Pearl

Max Pearl is a reporter and critic who splits his time between the US and Mexico. Last year, he received the Arthur J. Harris award from the Columbia School of Journalism in order to fund an ongoing research project about contemporary art on the US-Mexico border. His writing often focuses on art's relationship to power, and the ways it can be used to emancipate or enforce the status quo (often at the same time).
