Jess Chen

Jess Chen is a critic and art historian from San Francisco. Her writing has appeared in the Brooklyn Rail, ART PAPERS, and other publications. She is currently based in Berlin as a 2021-22 awardee of the US Congress-Bundestag fellowship. Her interests include race and representation in contemporary art, global feminisms, and the politics of form, with emphasis on Soviet Central Asia.
