Phillip Barcio is an art journalist and fiction author who contributes regularly to Hyperallergic, IdeelArt, and New Art Examiner. His work has also appeared in the Michigan Quarterly Review, Tikkun, and other fine publications. His essay on Young-Il Ahn is forthcoming in the next issue of Western Humanities Review. His fiction has appeared in Space Squid and the Swamp Ape Review, and his short story “What Is Let Go” won honorable mention in the Glimmer Train Short Story Award for New Writers contest (Jan/Feb 2018).
