Writing
Dick Averns, an artist and writer, has published in Canadian Art, Momus, Akimbo, On Site Review, Galleries West, Front, and multiple catalogues, while his artworks have circulated internationally. He has been deployed as an official war artist to the Middle East and teaches studio art, art history, and theory at the University of Calgary, Alberta.
