Rui Mateus Amaral is director of Scrap Metal, a privately-owned not-for-profit exhibition space, where his work as exhibition-maker and programer is centered around a growing collection of contemporary artworks by Canadian and international artists. In this role, Mateus Amaral has produced the following exhibitions: “Somebody Everybody Nobody” (2014); “Locating Ourselves” (2013); “Eva Kotatkova” (2014); and “The Traveling Eye” (2012). He has also curated “All Beneath the Moon Decays” (2014) and “New Meditations” (2012). Mateus Amaral currently resides in Toronto.
